I received my bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and Genomics from the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa in Sinaloa, Mexico. I am currently a graduate student in Dr. Frank Duca’s lab, where we study the role of the gut-brain axis in the development of metabolic disease, with a focus on understanding the signaling pathways involved in nutrient-induced satiation. Outside of the lab, I enjoy working out, staying active, and trying new recipes.
