Research Summary
The van Berlo research program is focused on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of cardiac remodeling and regeneration. An active area of research is on the role of the immune system in orchestrating cardiac remodeling. Separately, the laboratory is interested in discovering regulators of cardiomyocyte proliferation.
