Research summary

I coordinate the invivo activity of the Bartolomucci lab that is primarily focused on the study of behavioral and physiological responses to stress and aging as well as to the mechanisms of metabolic function and dysfunction involving the neuropeptide TLQP-21, using both pharmacological and genetic approaches in murine models of diabetes and obesity. I also serve as Behavior and Metabolism Specialist of the IBP Physiology core, ensuring the availability of several technologies for the characterization of users’ mouse models.
