Bio: Nora Peterson is building on her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from South Dakota State University, where she graduated magna cum laude as a student-athlete in track and field. She has extensive experience in anatomy education, having served as an anatomy intern, teaching assistant, and member of the anatomy teaching team, where she developed and administered assessments, supervised interns, and guided students in both classroom and lab settings. Her research experience includes work with developing a novel dissection protocol to enhance anatomical learning and contributions, to literature-based meta-analyses and qualitative studies. Nora has presented her work at research symposia and co-presented at the 2025 American Association for Anatomy conference. Alongside her academic and research pursuits, she is committed to integrating her passion for anatomy, physiology, and education in her graduate studies.
