Tarun’s research bridges anatomical sciences and biomedical education. Current projects include quantitative craniofacial morphometry, investigation of the postmortem microbiome and bone bioerosion, and the design and evaluation of anatomy learning modules (ANATguide).
He uses multimodal imaging and morphometric workflows (SEM, confocal white-light microscopy, 3D scan fusion, ImageJ/FIJI), alongside statistical modelling in R and curriculum development.
Tarun has collaborated with faculty in the Program in Human Anatomy and Department of Curriculum & Instruction and currently serves as a teaching assistant for Human Gross Anatomy courses. He aims to integrate anatomical research with evidence-based pedagogical design to make health science education more accessible and effective.
